 Owner Glen O'Neil: Glen was born and raised in Essex
County, played minor hockey and baseball for the town of Essex. His hockey
career extended to playing for Father Cullen at Assumption high school and
junior B for the Windsor Royals. He was drafted in 1974 by the Hamilton
Redwings of the O.H.A. And continued to play 4 years of junior A hockey. Glen
has coached minor baseball and hockey for a number of years. He coached and
managed for 7 years in the Great Lakes jr. C league at Belle River and Essex.
He is still actively playing adult hockey and slo-pitch, while enjoying a round
of golf now and then. Glen is employed as a production control and logistics
manager at General Motors. Glen and Mary have been residents in LaSalle for 5
years. Glen would welcome all his friends, relatives, neighbors and old hockey
acquaintances to come by the Sports Zone; he will take great pride in having
you as his customer.
 Owner Mary
O'Neil: Mary has coached girls' baseball in the st.catherines area. She was
the cheerleading coach at Villanova high school for 4 years and was actively
involved in many other school activities. Mary plays in a local golf league and
believe it or not her maiden name is "hockey". She works as an occupational
health nurse at General Motors. Mary and Glen have resided at crystal harbor
LaSalle for 5 years. Mary belongs to the beta sigma phi sorority. Mary provides
leadership and advice in the merchandising and marketing fields for our
store.
